Evan Alparone has been a teacher, music director, and accompanist for 20 years.  After graduating from UCLA’s musical theater program, he studied choral music at SF State and directed the choral program at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward for three years. As a music director and accompanist Evan has worked on over 90 musicals including several Off-Broadway productions and has been a music director in the Methodist Church for 19 years currently at Bethany UMC in San Francisco.  Before returning to the Bay Area, Evan served as the co-director of the NYC Community Chorus, resident music director for the Amas Musical Theater Academy, and was a staff accompanist for NYU’s New Studio on Broadway.  Recently he had the privilege of music directing several of Fantasy Forum Actor’s Ensemble productions, joining the fun on The Crimson Pirate and The Wizard of Oz among others.
