UPDATED COVID-19 LETTER TO FAMILIES
April 5 2020
To our Ballet School Family,
We want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support at this time. As we continue to follow orders from the county to shelter in place, we hope you and your family are safe and healthy. You are all family to us, we carry you in our hearts and prayers daily. WE MISS YOU!!! BIG TIME!!!
As you are aware, we have turned the school completely virtual. All Dance, Music and Theatre classes can continue under this platform. Thank goodness for ZOOM! We have loved connecting to the students this way. It seems to be something we can all look forward to! We will send ZOOM invites out daily for the different classes.
We are teaching over 50 LIVE ZOOM Dance and Theatre Classes a week, Over 160 Music Lessons a week, and we offering many POP UP Classes on Saturday and Sunday, and a FREE Speaker Series and Family Community Night!
We are still planning to do all our performances. We may need to adjust dates and we will be letting you know as soon as we know. The Spring Dance Concert, Spring Piano Recital, June Demonstration, Shakespeare In Love, and all the Performing Arts Studio showcases will happen! We have every intention to follow through with our students who have been working so hard. They have had so much canceled on them, we do not want to be one of them! SO WE WILL RE-SCHEDULE if we have to. The safety and happiness of our students is our main priority.
We have been offering virtual classes since March 16th, the day we were ordered to shelter in place. In 24hrs my staff had helped turn the whole school virtual. If we can’t be together in person, this is the next best thing!
A huge thank you to the amazing TBSPA staff for jumping in with their whole hearts to bring classes to the students right away! Also a huge thank you to our students for showing up and taking their classes so seriously to continue training! It has been inspiring to see the TBSPA community come together! We have been thrilled to see so many people from all over the world jumping into our Drop In Classes. We have students in Italy, Germany, London, Montana, Idaho, New York, Chicago, Texas, and Arizona to name a few! A positive from the shelter in place is that it has brought us all together connecting through dance, music and theatre. What an amazing way to connect to the whole world.
We continue to plan for the future and look forward to Summer Camps and Intensives with all the hope and prayers that we can be together by then.
Please reach out to us with any questions. We are more than happy to hear from you!
All our love, prayers and good health,
