Cat Reyes started her love of dancing in high school. Since then she’s been training in the styles of jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary, and belly dancing in various places around the East Bay, including at Diablo Valley College and San Francisco State University. Cat is an avid performer in Bay Area theatre; her favorite credits include West Side Story, In the Heights, Grease, and Tarzan. In addition to performing, she has also choreographed many stage productions such as Little Mermaid, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Matilda the Musical. She has also choreographed numerous shows with the Peter Pan Foundation. She currently teaches at various studios for over a decade and has choreographed many national award winning groups and solos. She had the honor of also choreographing for the troupes of Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre, as well as touring with them as a entertainer/teaching artist. Her overall goal is spread her love of the arts to her students in hopes that it fills their souls as the arts have done for her.
