Amanda Leigh is a performer, educator, and director dedicated to sharing the transformative power of the arts. A graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Theatre, Amanda has built her career both onstage and in the classroom, bringing creativity, professionalism, and heart to every project.

As a performer, Amanda has appeared in numerous productions across the Bay Area, with credits spanning plays, musicals, and children’s theatre with Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble. Her work onstage is guided by a deep commitment to storytelling and connecting with audiences in meaningful ways.

In addition to her work as a performer and teacher, Amanda serves as the Production Manager of the Summer Performing Arts Conservatory, a six-week intensive theatre training program that has been inspiring young artists for over 50 years. Formerly known as Young REP, the program continues its long-standing tradition of cultivating the next generation of theatre makers.

As a teacher, Amanda has inspired hundreds of young artists through her work at The Ballet School Performing Arts and beyond. She is passionate about creating a supportive, challenging, and joyful environment where students can develop their craft, grow in confidence, and discover their unique artistic voices.

Amanda also honors the past and respects the legacy of her grandmothers, Florence Denison and Lareen Fender. Their vision and values continue to shape her theatre teaching, reminding her to blend artistry with compassion and to carry their legacy forward into every generation of students.
