As a TBSPA alumni herself, Dr. Aimee is thrilled to be the in-house physical therapist and dance medicine specialist. The Ballet School was her homebase until she left for college in 1999 where she earned a BS in Kinesiology from SDSU, and then her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007 from Samuel Merritt University here in the Bay Area. In 2012 she founded her practice, To The Pointe Physical Therapy, from within TBSPA, with the desire to provide the highly specialized and individual care dancers deserve from someone who understands their art.

Dr. Aimee is certified in performing arts medicine through PAMA and ACSM, and is active in the dance community, regularly working backstage with professional companies, volunteering with the ODC Healthy Dancer’s Clinic, and giving lectures and workshops. She helped establish the TBSPA pointe readiness program, and provides comprehensive pointe readiness screenings, and also organizes the very successful quarterly Speaker Series, bringing in a wide spectrum of speakers dedicated to the health and safety of dancers.

Dr. Aimee treats dancers (and non-dancers!) from all over the Bay Area from youth through professional level. She invites you to learn more at and looks forward to helping in any way she can from within the beautiful studios at TBSPA.
