Charlie Levy, a Bay Area native, who turned New Yorker is now newly returned home. Raised in a musical household on a steady diet of classic-rock, classical composers, and show-tunes, all of his immediate family are musicians. He is self-taught on the piano and the ukulele and is currently taking up the guitar. Charlie works with students of all ages as a teaching-artist, retooling the arts as a means of cultivating self-expression and empowerment. He is an advocate for environmental health and an equality fighter for women, LGBTQ+ people, and all those voiceless and oppressed. He rides a bicycle, loves cooking, and dreams of adopting many large dogs. A graduate of AMDA NYC, and a long-time member of Actor’s Equity Association. Some past roles include: Enjolras in “Les Miserables,” Younger Brother in “Ragtime,” and Matt in “The Fantasticks.” Charlie dreams of forming a jazz act, reinterpreting popular and classic songwriting.
