Our Friendly supportive staff at The Ballet School and Performing Arts Studio are all professionals in their fields. All of our Ballet teachers have trained at The Ballet School and have grown up under the philosophy and teaching of our technique and positive atmosphere. This provides very consistent training in our academic levels.

Our Performing Arts Studio Staff are all working theatre professionals. Directors, Choreographers, Actors, Set Designers, Playwrights, Casting Directors, Musical Directors, Composers, Film Actors, Dialect Coaches, Fight Choreographers, Theatre Managers, Producers and Stage Managers.

Lareen Fender, Founder The Ballet School

Lareen began taking ballet in 1935.  By 1940 she was studying with the great Dorothy Perkins in Kansas City.  Dorothy Perkins “Perky” was a student of Enrico Cecchetti and Joseph Pilates. Lareen was one of Dorothy Perkins most beloved students.  By 1948 Lareen graduated high school and moved to New York City where she studied at Studio 61 in the old Carnegie Hall Studios. {more}
